📅 On this day in 2023, we proudly donated our 50th pair out of the 95 football boots we gave that year to young people & role models who needed them most. Since our creation, we’ve now donated over 250 pairs — an achievement made possible by your incredible support. ❤️

Looking ahead, we’re aiming to surpass 350 pairs by the end of 2026, and we’re coming back stronger than ever.

National Team Call-Ups for Lesotho Players!
👏🇱🇸 Huge Congratulations!

As some of you may know, Thabang Motseta has been an integral part of our coaching workshops in Lesotho, joining over 30 passionate coaches working to uplift their communities. With our continued support—providing equipment, boots, and uniforms—Thabang has made incredible progress. His team recently reached the finals, and now several of his players have earned national team call-ups!

At Supporting The Future, we firmly believe that there are countless aspiring coaches, role models, and community leaders around the world who simply need the tools and support to thrive. We are proud to be a part of Thabang’s journey and countless others like his.

3️⃣ years ago today! 22 suitcases donated to Africa! 🇱🇸 🇿🇦

, & travelled to Lesotho and South Africa with 22 suitcases containing over 2000 items to donate throughout communities! This was our biggest year as a charity so far and we are anticipating an even bigger tour at the end of this year!

Driving Football Development in Lesotho! ⚽️🌍

In 2022 and 2023, Supporting The Future proudly supported grassroots coaches across Lesotho—dedicated individuals who sacrifice their evenings and weekends to work with local youth, keeping them out of trouble and providing hope through football.

Among them are Kamohelo of Mpaola United and Thabang & Amohelang of Emmanuel Queens—coaches who have been battling it out in the First Division, striving for a place in the Women’s Super League.

Through our support, we provided balls, bibs, cleats, and uniforms to their teams, as well as coaching education during our Supporting The Future Coaching Course in 2023. Now, we are seeing the results of long-term investment in grassroots football, as both teams have dominated their league and are heading into the playoffs for promotion!

This is exactly what sustainable football development looks like—empowering coaches, equipping teams, and creating lasting opportunities for young players to succeed.

13-Year-Old Orphan Returns to School Thanks to Incredible Kindness! 🌟

In 2020, Jack Upton, a friend of James Murray, made a simple yet powerful decision—he pledged £10 per month to Supporting The Future. Despite the challenges of everyday life—paying a mortgage, raising children, and managing expenses—Jack never stopped giving. Even when the charity faced financial struggles, he remained a pillar of support, ensuring we could continue changing lives in Africa.

Meanwhile, across the world, in Kenya, Nicholas was embodying kindness in its purest form. A man with a heart of gold, Nicholas takes orphans into his own home, providing them with food, clothing, and shelter when they have nowhere else to turn. After years of speaking online, James finally met Nicholas in 2023 and witnessed firsthand the impact of his generosity.

Then, a vision came to life—bringing together Jack’s kindness and Nicholas’s selflessness to create something truly special.

Today, we are overjoyed to share that 12-year-old Rachel has officially rejoined school! 🎉✨

Thanks to Jack’s unwavering support, she now has:
📚 School fees paid for the next 12 months
👕 A school uniform & shoes
📖 Books, writing materials & school equipment

Education is a fundamental right, and no child should be denied the chance to learn and build a future. Without Jack’s dedication and Nicholas’s love and care, Rachel may still be struggling instead of stepping confidently into the classroom where she belongs.

Today, we celebrate both Jack and Nicholas—two incredible people from different parts of the world, united by their shared generosity and compassion. Supporting The Future is proud to bridge the gap between kind-hearted individuals and those in Africa who are equally as beautiful but sometimes less fortunate.
