Standing in solidarity with the homeless in Nottingham.
Inspired by up and running projects across the UK Hot Water Bottle Network Nottingham’s aim’s are to stand in solidarity with the homeless and raise awareness of homelessness issues by handing out hot water bottles to anyone that needs one during the colder months. This is a temporary measure and while we can not fix the injustice of homelessness, together we can stand together against it, spreading love and warmth
We are a small community of volunteers that are approaching businesses and community places to get on board and be added to our list of venues that are able to offer hot water fill ups for free. If you are able to offer this service please do get in touch.
If you would like to donate a hot water bottle we are happy to collect locally, meet at a convenient location and the Sue Ryder Charity Shop in Hockley are very kindly offering a drop off point :)
The aim is to be out at least once a week wherever possible, along side The Nottingham Street Knights who do amazing work providing food and hot drinks at street level. We are supporting them by collecting sleeping bags, warm clothing, toiletries ect. ALL donations will go directly to those that need them.
