Happy LGBT History Month from Notts Pastel Project! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
It's set to be an absolutely packed February for us as we'll be popping up all over the place, trying to keep up with all the amazing events that are going on!
Here are just a few of the things that you can get involved with.
3rd- make sure to head down to Bassetlaw to show your solidarity with our friends at as they protest the anti-trans motion put forward by Reform councillors.
4th- we're travelling down to Parliament to meet with MPs and deliver our Puberty Blocker policy brief to support the upcoming debate.
9th- after months of hard work our website is finally going live! This will be your go to place to view all our policy and information documents, see the work we've been up to and share your thoughts and stories in our blog section.
14th- we'll be taking a much needed break and unwinding at (tag)
19th- as the launch date for the Nottingham Rainbow Quarter creeps ever closer we'll be meeting with community members and stakeholders to discuss how the launch event will be taking shape!
21st- our amazing supporter Hannah will be running the Nottingham Winter Warmer Half Marathon. She's already raised over £700 for NPP and we'll be there to show our support!
21st- we've also received an incredibly generous invitation to come and visit Majid Al-Khazra Mosque to witness Iftar. This is part of our ongoing work to build connections with other marginalised groups and communities across Nottingham so that we can push back against far-right hatred together.
25th- we'll be setting up shop at the Council House for the annual Rainbow Heritage Awards. Make sure you come on down to say hi!
27th- it's the Notts Pride Winter Ball! I think it's fair to say that after recent events we need as many people showing their support, attending this amazing fundraiser, and sticking it to those corporate pride events!
1st- rounding off amazing History Month with a screening of Tops at Broadway. You can still grab tickets in our bio!
