Our first session back in September is 'In the Evening', a gentle time to drop-in for bereaved parents and family members who have experienced the death of a baby or child. We are a small, welcoming group, giving you the opportunity to connect with others who have experienced loss and who understand. There is no pressure, you can come and have a warm drink and listen, sharing as much or as little as you find comfortable.

This Thursday, 3rd September 7.30 - 9.30pm, and on the first Thursday of each month.

It's Bereaved Father's Day.
Today, and everyday, Zephyr's is here to support bereaved men and dads touched by baby and child loss.

Our monthly woodwork evening gives opportunity for bereaved dads to come together, whilst the male counsellors and session facilitators in our team, help hold a space for any bereaved father who may look for support from other men.

This Saturday, Louise will be riding 100 kilometres in memory of her beautiful niece, Ciella Nova.

She won’t be riding alone. Throughout the day she’ll be joined by Ciella’s daddy, her granddad, her uncle, and a wonderful peloton of supporters riding beside her and cheering her on.

Louise is taking on this challenge not only to raise funds for Zephyr’s, but also to spark conversations around more compassionate support for bereaved parents and safer maternity services for everyone.

We're really looking forward to cheering Louise and her team over the finish line. If you would like to donate to Louise's fundraiser, your support will help us to continue being here for bereaved families who need our care: https://www.justgiving.com/page/ciellanova-100kmcycle

Rainbow Baby Day marks the end of Rainbow Baby Week; a time of raising awareness and support around pregnancy after loss. Founded and hosted by our friend Amneet and Willow’s Rainbow Box it's an opportunity to connect, share, and understand, the emotional roller coaster that pregnancy can be, when it comes following the loss of a precious baby/ies or child/ren previously.

Here at Zephyr's we know of many people who find comfort in the "Rainbow Baby" metaphor, and the meaning of a child born after loss. Within our charity we also really understand, that for others the phrase doesn't feel reflective, or for those who may go on to face further loss or infertility, or for those who are unable to have, or choose not to have, another child after loss, the Rainbow terminology isn't right...

Whoever you are, and wherever you sit with the wording, pease be reminded that Zephyr's is here offering support for anyone who is trying to conceive or pregnant after loss.

🌈 HOPE is our monthly peer support group for ttc and pregnancy after loss, with differen themed and focused session, crafts and activities each time.

🌈 Zephyr's has specific pregnancy after loss counselling, offering sessions of support tailored to what each person or couple needs/when they feel they need it in their new pregnancy journey.

🌈 Visit our website for information on all of our support.

We’ve got one final paid‑for place in this year’s Robin Hood Half Marathon — so if you’ve been toying with the idea, consider this your friendly nudge to go for it.

Paid-for places mean Zephyr's pay your race registration fee and in return you raise vital funds that support local bereaved families. Follow the link to join now.

A huge thank you to , whose recent Summer Sounds Concert raised an incredible £1700 for Zephyr's.

It costs around £100,000 a year to provide our services, and we receive no NHS or statutory funding. Everything we do is made possible because people in our community choose to stand alongside us. Thank you to The Liberty Singers for supporting our cause, and to everyone who donated when buying their tickets.

If your choir or community group would like to support Zephyr's we'd love to hear from you via [email protected]
