Top Valley Community Centre was originally based on Knights Close, adjacent to the old Top Valley Youth Centre and Top Valley Health Centre, now home to Right Track. The new Community Centre, is a modern building with great facilities and is run by Top Valley Community Association - all volunteers!! consisting of a Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Administrator and Caretaker to name a few and is base
d on the Tesco site, next to the spacious and FREE carpark and several small shops. It is also home to Top Valley Tenants & Residents Association and Friends of Southglade. The groups meet on a Thursday every other month, newcomers are always welcome! We also have an open coffee morning/bookswap on Thursday mornings. The large hall with recently installed sprung floor and dance mirrors (!!) caters for are several sports/ keepfit groups which include Zumba and several styles of Karate and Martial Arts for both adults and children for all abilities, and Slimming world run several classes each week. There are two training rooms and a very spacious reception area which can be used for meetings, with tables and comfy arm chairs - for a less informal atmosphere. The centre is available for hire - not just for meetings and sport - for parties and celebration's too - with use of a modern fully fitted kitchen suitable for your party prep - See uploaded hire price list. Finally the centre is also used by different agencies to promote events and information days covering various topics, including Nottingham City Council, Nottingham City Homes, Nottinghamshire Police and many more. All local Bulwell Forest and Bestwood Councillors use the centre to for meetings with residents and information sharing.
