This Sat we're heading off on buses & trains to visit a gang of Castle Rock Brewery pubs outside of the city on a quest to tick them off for a free Castle Rock t-shirt πŸ‘• We could just buy one, but where's the fun in that!? Meet at Nottingham train station to join us πŸš†

Then in a couple of weeks, we're doing an outside bottle share in the park 🍻 Led by one of our resident Beer Sommeliers you'll be learning while you're drinking πŸ€“

Our first bar at Nottingham Craft Beer Festival has done an amazing thing - raised an amazing Β£545 for our 2026 charity partner Central Women's Aid πŸ™ŒπŸ’ͺ🍻

Eva at Central Women’s Aid said "We are very grateful for the support in both fundraising and awareness raising so that more women can find our services. The funds raised will help Central Women's Aid continue providing vital support, safety, and specialist services to women and children affected by domestic abuse."

A massive thank you to everyone who bought a beer, dropped money into the collection box or joined a charity beer tasting - our support for what we did was fantastic.

And a huge thank you to the folks running the festival for providing this space to do our charity thing πŸ™Œ

If you missed the festival or really enjoyed the beers - there's some crackers! - they are pouring once again from Wednesday 8th across two of our favourite venues The Abdication Micropub & The Barrel Drop 🍻 See you there!

All set up at Nottingham Craft Beer Festival ready to chat about Safe Spaces for Consent In Notts and serve some beers!! All proceeds will go to Central Women's Aid so come and drink! We'll also be doing some tasting sessions so come over and sign up for that!

🍺 Unexpected Friends, 7.1% Chocolate Trifle Stout from Ladies of Darkness and Tom's Tap and Brewhouse Ltd
🍺 Hey Wolf Moon, 5.8% New Zealand hazy IPA from Pixie Brewing
🍺 Pechelles, 4% Peach Lager from Brewsters Brewery
🍺 Herring Queen, 5.8% NEIPA from Kerroo Brewing Company
🍺 Gal Pals, 4.8% Lavender Pale Ale from Closet Brewing
🍺 Jackstaff, 0.5% IPA from Jump Ship Brewing

Next weekend we are back at Nottingham Craft Beer Festival in our ace corner with a load of new things going on!

We are very excited to bring you a No Half Measures Collective bar this year. Shining a spotlight on new, small and not-usually-seen-at-this-festival women-led breweries, we’ll have an ace selection pouring across the sessions to delight your taste buds. Check back early next week for a preview of the breweries and beers.

And we are chuffed to be partnering with the It's in Nottingham Safe Space scheme to provide a designated Safe Space for the festival. If you find you need to take some time out of the festival or something untoward occurs, come to our stand, where there will be Safe Space trained volunteers and a quiet area away from the hubbub to sort things out. We’ll also have lots of info about the Safe Space scheme - what it is, Safe Space venues across the city and how you can support the scheme.

Two fab things coming up 🍻

This Sunday, we've been invited by Place to Brew to make a beer at their home brew club - quite literally a place to brew! Equipped with all the kit & knowledgeable homebrewers on hand, a gang of us are off to find out more about this ace set up! Look out for updates this weekend 🍻 (this event is now full). And then for a bottleshare meet up in a few weeks time πŸ˜‰

Sat 6th June sees us heading off to join Lora and pals at Magpie Brewery for their 20th birthday bash. Bookings only required for brewery tours, otherwise you can pop along and join in the fun anytime from 11.30am. There's beers, food & music to while away the (hopefully sunny) afternoon. All welcome. See you there 🍻
