“She was taken beside me on the bed”

In this powerful audio clip, a mother shares the reality of how her daughter was taken to undergo FGM.

This clip is a reminder that behind every statistic is a real story and real trauma.

If this conversation was difficult, that’s because it should be. Awareness matters and listening matters.

In this clip, a woman speaks openly about her experience with FGM and the importance of creating spaces where women feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Conversations like this matter. Awareness matters. Support matters.

Sometimes art says the things we struggle to put into words 🎨💭

Here’s someone sharing the story behind a painting they created as part of our creative therapy sessions.

Art can be a powerful way to express emotions that are difficult to put into words. It can help with stress, anxiety, and emotional release.
And remember you don’t need to be “good at art” for it to help your mental health! Focus on expression not perfection. thank you for playing a huge role in this project.
