Well it’s been a fortnight since the favourite day of our year so far, The Nottingham Waterfront Festival and what a day it was!!! We raised £4’104.53 which will be split between and ) we’ll keep you updated on how that is spent!

That’s over £46’000 the The Nottingham Waterfront Festival has raised for local charities since it’s inception in 2010 and including two years of lockdown making a significant positive impact on Nottingham people’s lives through it’s music. A massive thanks to everyone who helped out, our bands, DJs, musicians, stage managers ,interns, soundtechs, stage ,PA & lighting crews, designers, decor teams, designers, drivers, workshops photographers, bar and door staff our amazing sponsors; . , and ***hdrink , our good friends at , the mighty and everyone who wore a hat and of course who bought a ticket!

The fact it was on at the same day as ‘the football’ and was a bit rainy at the start of the day did worry us but it was so amazing to see that people still came out in their droves to celebrate the city’s amazing musical community whilst raising money for two very important charities: Emmanuel House who do so much and receive so little support for their outstanding contribution to tackling homelessness and providing day centres for those in need and Music Venue Trust protecting our grass roots venues, we really need more of those in Nottingham! We hope to see you all for next year’s Waterfront Festival on Saturday 2nd August xx

Well it's been a fortnight since the favourite day of our year so far, The Nottingham Waterfront Festival and what a day it was!!!

We raised £4'104.53 which will be split between both charities ( Emmanuel House Support Centre, Nottingham and The Music Venue Trust) we'll keep you updated on how that is spent!

That's over £46'000 the The Nottingham Waterfront Festival has raised for local charities since it's inception in 2010 and including two years of lockdown making a significant positive impact on Nottingham people's lives through it's music.

A massive thanks to everyone who helped out from our stage managers Karlos, Anna, Jake and Destinee, our DJ's: Sonia (Stiff Kittens) Luke, Kieron, Paul, Mole and Jimi Arundell, our star interns Sofie and Luke, our sound tech's Bea, Richard, Maximo, and Max our PA and backline crews, Lee Hughes for the muscle, Ben Hellings for the promo video, Ava Whiteman for the poster, Craig and the Nottingham Gig Buddies for the Clashfinder and support, Matt Thomas for overseeing our new sound tech's, Ben (The Angel Microbrewery) Rose and Jon T for your vans, Phil and all at JT Soar for your backline help, Phil Taylor and Matt Rowley, our amazing hat workshop leader and children's entertainment guru Livvy Azzopardi, Brendan (Metempsychosis) and his crack team Grace Reeves and Gem Adams. Thankyou to Sarah Manton from Sneinton Avenues for all the amazing hat based decor (we take our hats off to you all). Thanks James Birtwhistle, gig photography, Harvey Steele and Alice Reeves for the photos, Oskar and Jordan for the videography. Big up Steph Peacham for your tireless work on the door, all the Castle Rock Brewery and Canalhouse Bar crew, our amazing sponsors Gigantic Tickets, Madrí Excepcional, Castle Rock and H***h , our good friends at BBC Music Introducing in The East Midlands, Dean Jackson at The Beat , Amy Jay Britton, Radio Nottingham, the mighty LeftLion Magazine Nottingham and of course every single musician that played a note, wore a hat (The winner of the competition was Daniel Ison - big prize coming your way!!) and helped us raise so much for such a good cause and of course every last one of you that bought a ticket and helped push the event in whatever capacity. The fact it was on at the same day as 'the football' and it didn't seem to bright at the start of the day did worry us but it was so nice to see that people still came out in their droves to celebrate the city's amazing musical community whilst raising money for two very important charities for these times, Emmanuel House Homeless Shelter who do so much and receive so little support for their outstanding contribution to tackling homelessness and providing day centres for those in need and Music Venue Trust protecting our grass roots venues, we really need more of those in Nottingham!

We hope to see you all for next year's Waterfront Festival on Saturday 2nd August 2025!!!
