🌳 Branching out our skills! 🌿

We had a fantastic session yesterday at Rushcliffe Country Park, led by the brilliant botanist Kevin Widdowson.
Our Tree Wardens spent the day getting to grips with botanical keys. After mastering the theory, we headed out into the field to put our new skills to the test!
A huge thank you to Kevin for sharing his expertise, and to our dedicated Tree Wardens for their enthusiasm.

Join local birder Neil Glenn for a morning walking around the area searching for current residents.

Sun 26th Apr - Bunny Wood Open Day
Come and see the Wood’s famous bluebells in bloom and learn about the woodland's history. There's a guided walk at 11am and children's activities through the day.

OUT AND ABOUT WITH WILDLIFE 2026

Now the days are getting perceptibly longer, albeit slowly, so perhaps thoughts are starting to turn to the longer, warmer – and, hopefully, brighter and drier – days when we can get out for long walks in the countryside.
