Erewash Community Transport is a registered charity, set up in May 1984 to provide accessible transport services for anyone who is unable to use public transport (for reasons of age, infirmity or disability) or for whom public transport is unavailable. Services are provided at low cost, enabling us to play a valuable role in the concept of integrated living within the Community. All services are d
oor to door; passengers are collected from and returned to their home address. Listed below are our main services:
Contract Service - This service is usually provided Monday to Friday, always at specific times, to the same destination; e.g., Schools and colleges. Please call for more information about this service. Dial-a-Bus βa door-to-town shopping service, operating throughout Erewash. You can book a seat up to three weeks in advance, but please be aware they are made on a first come-first served basis. Booking line is open Monday-Friday from 0900-1500. Drivers are happy to assist if required, but we ask passengers to restrict bags to two per person. Group Transport β is used by groups or individuals and can be provided for luncheon clubs, schools, brownies, nursing homes, etc. We regret we are unable to accommodate car seats, however our seats are fitted with All Age three-point lap and diagonal seat belts. Vehicles are available for use by a wide range of organisations including; Voluntary and Charitable groups, Health Authorities, Local, County, and Parish Councils, schools, colleges, scouts, brownies and special needs associations; In fact any community based group may benefit from Community Transport. Any groups wishing to use our vehicles must first affiliate with us; this is for insurance purposes and to ensure you are a member of our Scheme.
