Dear citizens of Nottingham,

Assalamu Alaikum,
Peace be upon you all.

We write to you today with profound sadness regarding the tragic events that unfolded in our City of Nottingham on the 13th of June 2023.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the three individuals who tragically lost their lives, and we extend heartfelt wishes for a swift recovery to those who were injured and are currently receiving medical care.

Nottingham, known for its cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence, has been deeply affected by this devastating incident. As an organisation dedicated to fostering unity and understanding, we are profoundly saddened by this tragedy within our city.

We urge individuals of all faiths and religions to join us for a solemn vigil on *Thursday, 15th June 2023 at 5pm in the City Centre* Market Square.

This vigil holds immense significance in demonstrating our collective strength, compassion, and unwavering unity.

Let us come together as a compassionate community, bound by a shared humanity, to pay our respects, console one another, and offer solace during this time of grief. By standing side by side, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering peace, understanding, and harmony within our beloved city.

May our support provide comfort to the families of the bereaved and injured. Together, let us show the world the strength of our unity and the power of love to overcome darkness.

With heartfelt sympathy and prayers,

Pakistan Forum Nottingham
