What is Happy Recovery Parcels?

This is a non-profit project that works to send out care packages to individuals struggling with mental health issues. It’s an UK independently ran project that wants to help support as many vulnerable individuals as possible across the nation. In the past year £500 has been raised, and 70 parcels have been sent out to those with mental health difficulties.

Anyone who lives in the UK with any mental health issue can apply for a parcel through the website link. Mental health services are extremely over-stretched and underfunded, and therefore not everyone gets the support they need and deserve. These parcels will help individuals understand that they are not alone in their struggles and that they are cared for. Even waiting for a parcel to arrive could be the reason someone decides to keep going.
