📣 WE’RE HIRING AT OPENING DOORS 📣
Would you like to join a small, friendly charity where people with learning disabilities are at the heart of what we do?
We have TWO part time jobs available:
🟠 Advocacy Adviser – 16 hours a week
Help people with learning disabilities have their voices heard, understand their choices, solve problems and make their own decisions.
🔵 Office Coordinator – 16 hours a week
Help keep Opening Doors organised and running smoothly, while also working alongside and supporting a paid colleague with a learning disability.
We’re looking for people who share our values and believe people with learning disabilities should have choice, control and a voice.
📍 Based in Norwich
💷 Competitive salary
🌴 33 days holiday pro rata, including bank holidays
💙 Employee Assistance Programme and staff wellbeing support
🚗 Mileage paid at 55p per mile
🗣️ Interview panels made up of people with learning disabilities

We are closed Friday and Monday for the Bank holiday weekend.

We are really pleased to say we now have the certificate to show we are a Real Living Wage UK employer.

This means everyone who works for Opening Doors gets paid at least the Real Living Wage.

We believe people should be paid properly for their time this includes people with learning disabilities as well.

We had a wonderful time together at Norwich Pride

It's important for us all to show we are happy and proud as people with learning disabilities who are LGBT+ and we are pleased to have friends and supporters who stand with us and support us to join in

It is VERY HOT this week and so we have made the decision to cancel all our groups and meetings.
