Don't forget to stop by!...

The Inclusive Norwich Partnership launched their inclusivity website yesterday and you can access it now to share feedback on areas of Norwich that need attention.

You can also access the resource hub, which has a huge amount of best practice guidance, ideas and supportive information for people and businesses locally to be as inclusive as possible.

We have been proud to be one of the partners for this work over the last year along with Equal Lives, Norwich City Council, Kind City Maps and Inclusive Norwich.

Thank you to everyone who attended today's event!

This morning we launched our website, which aims to be a one stop shop for inclusivity in Norwich. With a resource hub, feedback opportunities and best practice.

As a website, it has a dual use, for businesses around the city to access good practice and guidance as well as the general public to feedback on issues and share their viewpoints.

Access the website here: https://www.inclusivenorwich.org.uk/partnership

We invite everyone to be part of an accessible and welcoming community session at the Forum, where we'll celebrate our diverse experiences of Norwich through creative expression. Whether you've lived here for decades or are new to our fine city, your perspective matters.

Through poetry, storytelling, and shared memories, we'll explore Norwich's rich heritage and vibrant present. Using photographs and images that showcase our city's fascinating journey, we'll work together to capture the essence of what makes Norwich home for all of us.

This inclusive session welcomes:
- People of all ages and backgrounds
- Those with different abilities and access needs
- Both longtime residents and newcomers
- Anyone interested in Norwich's story

What to expect:
- A fully accessible venue with step-free access
- Support workers welcome
- Materials available in different formats
- Flexible participation options
- Relaxed, pressure-free environment

No previous creative writing experience needed – just bring your enthusiasm and stories! Together, we'll create a collaborative poem that reflects our diverse community's experience of Norwich, past and present ready for the launch of the Inclusive Norwich Partnership on 29th January 2025.

Practical Information:
- Accessible parking nearby
- Personal assistants welcome

Hello all and Welcome to the Inclusive Norwich Partnership! Our aim is to make Norwich as inclusive as possible, combining the expertise of Age UK Norwich, Equal Lives, Inclusive Norwich, Norwich City Council and Kind City Maps.

Our official launch is coming this month, which includes our partnership website going live with resources, information and feedback opportunities for residents across Norwich. The Inclusive Norwich Partnership (INP) plans to amplify individuals' voices into local service design and policies.

Updates of the launch and following will be shared on this page, so give us a like to stay informed and up to date on how you can engage with our work across the City.
