I have been informed by his family that Ron Jarvis passed away at the end of September. For those who may not recall, Ron had been a member of SoCA since 2010 but decided in Feb 24 to resign his membership as he considered he was now too old (at age 85) to drive and thus felt unable to attend our functions. Up until then he had been a very active social member of the Association.
Our condolences go out to the family.
Ron's funeral is at 11.30 on Tuesday 28th October, at St Faiths Crematorium and SoCA members are invited to attend.

It is with deep sadness we have to report the death of Douglas Johnson.
Douglas joined SoCA ten years ago and has supported us in so many ways since then, He was an active team member for the Coltishall Rooms at the Radar Museum Neatishead and attended the SoCA social and memorial events whenever his health allowed. A true gentleman and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts are with Gillian and the family at this sad time.

Douglas' funeral will be held at the Cromer Crematorium on 10 July at 11 am. This will be followed by a get together at the Bluebell Inn, North Walsham.
Please come along to the funeral service and give our friend the send off he deserves and the family all the support we can give at this sad time.
Those intending to attend should inform the SoCA Secretary ([email protected]) to enable catering planning.

A few snaps from this morning's Remembrance Service at the Memorial Garden with the younger pupils of the Douglas Bader School on Filby Road. They were a credit to the School and themselves. Well Done!
