The gardens at Priscilla Bacon Lodge are so much more than beautiful spaces. They’re an important part of the holistic care provided, which helps patients to live as well as possible.

Our Head Gardener, Jack, explains why our gardens matter so much and shares some of the work that goes into looking after them, helped by our team of dedicated garden volunteers.

A huge thank you to our volunteers from Aviva for all their hard work recently!

This fantastic team volunteers for a half day every eight weeks, playing an important role in supporting our Head Gardener, Jack, with maintaining our lovely gardens.

On their latest visit, the team raked up wildflowers and long grass that were cut last week. We deliberately leave the cuttings on the ground for a short time to allow the plants to naturally disperse their seeds. Manually raking the cuttings afterwards helps spread those seeds even further, encouraging even more wildflowers to grow next year.

We are incredibly grateful for the support of our corporate volunteers.💕

Join the Snowdrop Community Choir!

Choir rehearsals resume on 8th September, meeting every Tuesday 6:30-7:30pm.

Everyone is welcome, and we’d especially love to hear from more baritones, tenors and basses! 🎵

Our free Couch to 5K programme is back this September!

The 12-week programme starts again on 15th September at Eaton Park, meeting at 10am every Tuesday.

The sessions are designed to support people through bereavement and are run in partnership with Up The Tempo Running CIC. A member of our Community Team will join you each week and we'll head to the café afterwards.

Last week Jessica's wish hosted their Broads Motor Mania event in Stalham and we were one of their chosen charities. We are thrilled to announce that we received £2,010.12 from ticket sales from their event!
