This shelf needs your help.

Every empty space on our shelves is an opportunity to raise more money for Norwich Samaritans.

🛍️ Meet Our Shops! 🛍️
Over the next few weeks, we'll be taking you on a tour of each of our Norwich Samaritans charity shops, showcasing their unique character and some of the fantastic treasures waiting to be discovered inside.

Today, we're starting with our original Samaritans shop on Aylsham Road, Norwich which first opened in the 1990s. Over the years, thanks to the incredible support of our community, it has grown so much that it expanded into the neighbouring premises!

Whether you're hunting for a bargain, searching for something special, or looking to support a great cause, there's always something new to find.

Every item sitting in the back of a wardrobe or cupboard has the potential to make a real difference. We have three charity shops help fund a life-saving listening service for people in crisis, but they can only do that with the support of our local community.

We're urgently looking for good quality donations shown in the graphic.

If you're having a clear out, please consider donating to our shops. Your pre-loved belongings could help ensure someone always has a place to turn when they need someone to listen.

If you're a UK taxpayer, don't forget to sign up for Gift Aid when you donate. It allows us to claim an extra 25p for every £1 raised from the sale of your donated items, at no extra cost to you. Every donation helps Norwich Samaritans continue to be there for anyone who needs us.

Today we’re wishing the very best of luck to our incredible volunteer, Paul Guille, as he takes on an extraordinary challenge – running 83 miles along the Norfolk Coast Path from Hunstanton to Hopton.

Paul is taking on this remarkable feat in memory of his sister, Bethany, while raising vital funds for Norwich Samaritans and highlighting that Samaritans are here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs someone to listen.

Paul has been a dedicated listening volunteer with Norwich Samaritans for the past three years, supporting callers, emails and online chats, as well as helping to train new volunteers.

Today, he’s putting months of training to the test for a cause that means so much to him.

Good luck, Paul – we’re all behind you every step of the 83 miles. 💚
