📚 Love books? We’ve got a volunteering role that might be right up your street!

We’re looking for Book Volunteers to join the friendly team at our Aylsham Road Community Shop for a few hours a week.

You’ll help us sort and process donated books, including scanning books through our World of Books system, identifying books for the shop and helping us make the most of every generous donation.

You don’t need specialist book knowledge or retail experience and full guidance will be provided. If you enjoy books, are organised and are comfortable with simple technology, we’d love to hear from you.

Your time will help turn donated books into vital funds for Norwich Samaritans.

Did you know your donations could be worth 25% more to Norwich Samaritans, at no extra cost to you?

🌿💚 What an incredible afternoon of wellbeing, connection and community! 💚🌿

A huge thank you to Debbie Eastwood and the amazing team behind Wellbeing in Norwich's Secret Garden for creating such a special event at the beautiful Plantation Garden in support of Su***de Awareness Month.

On 19th September, around 60 people came together to take some time for themselves. From movement and mindfulness to creativity, music, relaxation and meaningful connection, it was a truly uplifting afternoon in a stunning setting.

✨ Together, we raised an incredible £893 for Norwich Samaritans! ✨

A very special thank you goes to Debbie, whose vision, hard work and dedication brought this wonderful event to life. We are so grateful for everything you did to make the day such a success.

We're also incredibly thankful to Roger and the team at Plantation Garden for providing such a beautiful and welcoming space.

A huge thank you to the talented practitioners and contributors who generously shared their time, expertise and passion:

Your kindness and generosity helped create a day filled with hope, compassion and connection, while raising vital funds to support the life-saving work of Norwich Samaritans.
