We are hoping to run our facilitated encounter group in the Spring of this year: Meeting weekly over a period of ten weeks, the Encounter Group will sit together for three hours, once a week, with the intention of being with one another. The emphasis will be on staying with the here-and-now and in-the-moment experience. This is a facilitated, rather than traditional teacher-student environment, with the emphasis on co-creation and shared responsibility. We are excited to announce that applications for our Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling starting in September 2026 and running until summer 2028 are now open. This is a BACP accredited course and leads to participants becoming qualified counsellors, the course is fully alined with the new SKOPeD requirements which includes all appropriate elements of learning for on-line and telephone counselling. We ask that if you are at all unwell you do not come for your session in person. Some of our counsellors can provide online sessions, but our trainees are not able to do that.

Our certificate and introductory courses are filling up fast: In the new academic year we will be running our 10 week introduction to counselling skills course once each term and places are filling up fast so if you are interested get in touch. In September we will also be running our certificate course, which is the pre-course to the diploma for many students. This will be the final certificate course before the 2026 diploma course so if you are interested please do get in touch and we can send you an application form.
