Everyone at 1st Norton Canes Scout Group would like to say a huge well done to our fantastic Cub Leader, Dean Lote, who has successfully completed the London Marathon! 👏

Taking on 26.2 miles is no small feat, and it’s an incredible achievement that shows real determination, resilience, and commitment – values we love to see and promote within Scouting 💪

Dean, you’re a brilliant role model for our young people, and we’re all incredibly proud of you. We hope you’re putting your feet up and enjoying a very well-earned rest! 🏅

We’re running a small Easter Raffle to raise funds for the Scout Group, with this fantastic Easter hamper packed full of chocolate and treats! 🍫🐰

🎟 Tickets:
• £1 per ticket
• 5 tickets for £4

All funds raised help us continue providing fun activities, equipment, and adventures for our young people, as we are a completely volunteer-run Scout Group.

Due to the fantastic interest in our youngest section, we’re delighted to announce that a second Squirrels Drey will be opening in October 2026!

Squirrels is perfect for young people aged 4–6 years old, helping them build confidence, make friends, learn new skills and enjoy fun activities like games, crafts, teamwork and outdoor adventures.

If your child will be aged between 4 and 6 and you’d like them to join this brand-new Drey, we’d love to hear from you.

Join us on Saturday 7th February at 7:00pm for our 1st Norton Canes Scouts Fundraiser Quiz Night at the Victoria Club, Norton Canes.

⭐ All welcome – you don’t have to be a member of the Scout Group to take part, so bring friends, family and neighbours along!

💷 £5 per team (maximum of 6 adults per team)

🏆 Lots of fantastic prizes to be won, including:
• Local bar vouchers
• Food vouchers
• Chocolates
• Wines

🎟 Plus a raffle
🍷 And a water or wine stall on the night
