Subject: NHMCC Youth Islamic Studies Program Resumes in Partnership with SAIS
Dear Community,
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
We pray this message finds you in the best of health and Imaan.
We are pleased to announce the resumption of the NHMCC Youth Islamic Studies Program (Boys & Girls â Year 1) in partnership with SAIS.
This unique 2-year course is specifically designed for post-GCSE students (ages 16+) to provide essential Islamic knowledge during a pivotal stage in their lives. The course is discussion-based, practical, and deeply rooted in the teachings of Islam.
One of our students, Zain Hussain Ansari, shared:
âAlhamdulillah, Iâve truly enjoyed and benefited from the weekly discussions. The open-ended, discussion-based style of teaching has been especially effective for me.â (Full testimonial at the end of this message.)
Program Details:
Day: Saturday
Time: 12:30 PM â 1:30 PM
Age Group: 16+
Exams/Homework: None â the focus is on engagement and learning, not assessments.
The curriculum addresses the real challenges our youth face in sixth form and university environments, helping them to confidently uphold and live by their faith.
We look forward to continuing our efforts in nurturing future leaders, deeply grounded in Islamic values, inshaâAllah.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan,

âMy name is Zain Hussain-Ansari, and I joined the Youth Islamic Studies Program organized by NHMCC and SAIS this year.
Alhamdulillaah, Iâve truly enjoyed and benefited from the weekly discussions. The open-ended, discussion-based style of teaching has been especially effective for me. It allows us to ask questions and engage in debates about topics that directly relate to our current stage in life. This is one of the main reasons Iâve found the lessons so impactful â we address the issues weâre already facing, as well as those we are likely to encounter in the near future.
Our lessons usually begin with a general question, and then we gradually dive deeper into the topic. The pace of the sessions is well-balanced â not too fast and not too slow â which helps me retain more information and gives us time to reflect and prepare thoughtful questions for the next lesson.
The best part of these lessons is that our conclusions are always based on evidence from the Qurâan and Sunnah. This strengthens our confidence because when we encounter these challenges in real life, we know how to respond in a way that is correct and pleasing to Allah.
I look forward to my lesson every week and I always make sure that I donât miss it.â
