This is an engaging interactive workbook for adults to read with children (7-11yrs) to build their resilience.

The project, adapted from successful workshops delivered for service users at the mental health charity Mind, teaches habitual skills which can become a foundation for great wellbeing throughout life.

Other biproducts of the project are to:

• Provide and reinforce Emotional Literacy
• For parents to read with children: No school resources required.
• Teach Mental Health “Skills” through interactive activities with online resources
• Document activity between the adult and child
• Establish a safe space. Adults to read with children helping to maintain the family unit and future support
• Provide a “holding space” for appropriate children/families on the CAMHS waiting list

This is for ALL children. Please share as we need contacts with primary schools to get workbooks FOC to parents for children and families to benefit.

Our charity’s children’s wellbeing project, “Roxy Says” is designed to raise awareness of mental health, reduce stigma and ultimately increase children's resilience.

It is an engaging interactive resource for adults (parents/carers) to read with children (7-11yrs). The project, adapted from workshops delivered for service users at the mental health charity Mind, teaches habitual skills which can become a foundation for great wellbeing throughout life. If you have a brain, you have a mind and what you put in it is important. This is for ALL children.

Other biproducts of the project are to:

• Provide and reinforce Emotional Literacy

• For parents to read with children: No school resources required. Adults can learn skills with children.

• Teach Mental Health “Skills” through interactive activities with online resources.

• Document activity between the adult and child

• Establish a safe space. Adults to read with children helping to maintain the family unit and future support

• Provide a “holding space” for appropriate children/families on the CAMHS waiting list
