As many of you may be aware, Mark Monaghan, the inspiration behind Mark's Mission sadly lost his battle with Glioblastoma on Friday 10th October 2025.
Mark fought bravely and tirelessly following his diagnosis to raise awareness of brain cancers and was so proud of Mark’s Mission and all that has been achieved since its formation.
With the support and backing of Mark’s immediate family, Debbie, George and Katie, as well as his wider family and friends Mark’s Mission will continue to raise vital funds in his memory for The Brain Tumour Charity.
Mark’s Mission will continue with the aim of achieving its goal:

“To raise the funds to find the cause and ultimately the cure for all brain cancers”.

Marks legacy will continue, and he will not be forgotten. Rest Easy Mark.

We can’t believe it has been a week since the DADs completed their 900 mile ride across the country visiting every premiership rugby club. They still can’t quite believe they did it. 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

Thank you Stuart Andrew for Daventry for being there to welcome home the DADs after their epic ride, it meant a huge amount to them that you and so many people came out to cheer them home. Thank you 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️🚴🏻‍♂️

👏 Congratulations to the DADs for completing the Mark's Mission - Cycle Challenge on Saturday! They travelled nearly 900 miles (1,400 km) and reached Franklin's Gardens just in time for the last home game of the season.

It was a privilege to witness their arrival and the incredible support they received. Well done again!

Mark Monaghan is battling a stage 4 glioblastoma brain tumour. In support of him, Mark's friends Andrew Nicholson, Duncan Nicholson, and Derek Middlemiss (The DADs) are raising funds for The Brain Tumour Charity by combining their shared love for cycling 🚲 and rugby 🏉.

It was a long and emotional penultimate day for the DADs and their team as they travelled from London to Northants and then on to Leicester. They would like to thank everyone they encountered along the way for their hospitality, generosity and support especially The Old Farm Inn Totternhoe, The c**k Inn Hanslope, Northampton golf Club, whoever put out signs in Harlestone and The Knightley Arms in Yelvertoft. The support they have received has been invaluable.
