Lemonpop Workshops

Lemonpop Workshops Workshops are also great for breaking barriers, improving communications and intergration.

Lemonpop Workshops is a creative learning and wellbeing organisation that uses creativity as a catalyst for personal growth, community engagement, and positive social change. Our Workshops can be implemented as one offs but more effective as part of a programme or regular sessions weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Our workshops achieve strong focus on key priorities and personal responsibilities or interest areas.

Culture and Heritage: Northamptons historic Old Black Lion pub, sits directly next door to the medieval St Peter’s Church near Marefair, Northampton and as part of the Creating Heritage project by the Churches Conservation Trust we engaged participants of all ages on our colouring canvas

The event was to raise awareness and promote the rich history behind the buildings as the Gateway into Northampton. The buildings have recently undergone a restoration as St Peter’s church is a 12th-century Grade I listed building and The Old Black Lion is Northampton’s oldest 16th-century pub so there is a rich history of Northampton shared between the two buildings!
We are so happy to be a part of the celebrations and hope that the canvas captures the historical heritage which includes elements of its Norman and Saxon roots, as well as a focus on William Smith, being the Father of British Geology, Ann Elizabeth Baker who unveiled the carvings in the church, Hazelrigg House as well as the train station and the Old Castle remains.

Special thanks to all involved for having Lemonpop Workshops on board to share the creativity!
Stay creative!!!

Creative Exploration was theme behind our latest project at the Best Start Family Hubs in Kettering

As part of the design process and consultations we visited the Play Time Explorers for 0-11yrs at to find out more about what goes on there… And WOW the feedback we received from this engagement was absolutely heartfelt as the parents and guardians we spoke to all expressed how important the services have been to them and their families, I filled up a few pages in such a short time with some expressing how it’s helped with isolation for example… some have moved countries and so many other examples of how the centre has been a supportive to them!😢👏❤️Truly heartfelt!!!

The engagement inspired the development of the mural and our aim was to follow the journey of growth and make it visual, from early years onwards to toddler experiences all the way to teenagers, as the centre supports the development of all the ages hopefully connects to the outdoors mural we developed recently as well!

The Best Start Family Hubs team in Kettering supports families with children 0-19 or up to 25 years old with special needs and deliver a range of joined-up services focusing particularly on parenting, infant feeding, early language and perinatal mental health. Addressing the needs and of families enabling them to build positive relationships with their children and their community.
Thank you to the whole entire staff team for accommodating myself, opening at odd hours to complete the mural and other weird requests… lol we appreciate you for having us on board to share the creativity!
