Happy Take Your Dog to Work Day! 🐾💛

Although, if Lyra had her way, every day would be Take Your Human to Work Day... 😂

One minute I'm trying to get things done, the next I have a furry weighted blanket sprawled across me demanding cuddles and attention.

But here's the thing...

Dogs have an incredible way of helping us slow down. 🐾

They remind us to pause, take a breath, get outside, and enjoy a moment of connection.

For me, Lyra is more than just a dog. She's a comfort, a companion, and sometimes the reminder my nervous system needs that it's okay to rest for a minute. 💛

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a very important meeting with a dog who refuses to move. 🐶✨

When we begin to understand our own emotions and nervous systems, it can change the way we respond to our children too.

Because when a parent feels more supported, a child often feels more supported too. 🌈

But stories can help those feelings feel a little less scary.

That’s why Worley was created 🌈
To help children explore emotions through gentle stories, connection and conversation - without pressure or judgement.

Because sometimes reading together opens doors that direct questions can’t 💛

Connection doesn’t mean perfect.

It means:

💛 responding with support rather than judgement

When we understand the Zones of Regulation, we can see behaviour as communication and meet children where they are emotionally.
