🏆🔵🟡 LOCHNELL 2011’S END OF SEASON AWARDS & QUIZ NIGHT 🟡🔵🏆

We’re delighted to announce our End of Season Awards & Quiz Night as we celebrate what has been a fantastic season for the Lochnell 2011’s. ⚽️👏

Join us for a great night of football, fun and fundraising as we come together to recognise the players’ achievements and raise vital funds ahead of next season.

Champions! 🏆⚽️

Lochnell 2011 were crowned U15 AIYFA League Champions after a superb 3-0 victory over Oban Saints.

The boys produced another outstanding performance, showing the quality, commitment and teamwork that has been on display throughout a fantastic season. The breakthrough came from Dylan ⚽️ before Innes M ⚽️ doubled the advantage. Euan C ⚽️ completed the scoring to secure the win and spark celebrations at the final whistle.

Every player played their part in a dominant team display, with the squad once again demonstrating the hard work and determination that has seen them reach the top of the league.

Winning the league is a tremendous achievement and a reward for the effort shown by the players all season long. A huge congratulations to the entire squad, coaches and supporters on a memorable day for Lochnell 2011.

What a brilliant day out for our A.hcontractors sponsored 2014/15/16 team as they traveled over to Islay to take on Port Ellen in the Argyll & the Islands Youth Football Association - AIYFA under 12 league. It was a long day for our guys, but the journey was well worth it as they put in their best performance of the season. A big thanks to our friends at Port Ellen for hosting us, and also to Cal Mac Ferries for the smooth sailing and the tour of the bridge!

Finally, a special thanks to our coaches for making it happen for the kids. Great memories for all.

Lochnell 2011s Impress at Giffnock Festival 🟡🔵⚽️

Lochnell 2011s produced a series of outstanding performances at the Giffnock Festival against strong Division 1 opposition.

Despite three narrow 1-0 defeats in the group stage, the boys competed brilliantly and were unlucky not to take more from their games. In the Plate semi-final, Lochnell drew 1-1 with Bonnyton Thistle before narrowly losing 3-1 on penalties.

The day ended on a high as the boys secured 3rd place in the Plate competition, defeating Barrhead in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw.

Every player gave everything throughout the tournament and represented the club superbly. The performances showed just how far this group has come, and there is plenty to be excited about heading into next season.

Musician Nick Morgan visited Lochnell Primary School on Friday as part of his “No Scotland No Party” tour. James from our 2014 squad was on hand to present Nick with a Lochnell FC coach’s top on behalf of the club. The kids had a brilliant time being entertained by Nick and we wish him all the best as he continues his tour, building the excitement ahead Scotland men’s team making their return to the World Cup on 14th June. 😊 We can’t wait!

Lochnell 2011 continued their strong form in the U15 AIYFA league with an impressive 4–1 away win over Red Star.

It was another excellent team performance full of hard work, determination and quality football throughout the match.

James opened the scoring with a well-taken finish ⚽️ before Carter confidently converted from the penalty spot ⚽️. Dylan then added a superb double ⚽️⚽️ to seal another excellent victory for the team.

Every player played their part in a brilliant all-round display.

Man of the Match: DJ – outstanding from start to finish.

A brilliant weekend of football for our squads at the Oban Football Festival 😊. Lots of good football was on display from our guys. A massive thank you to all coaches and helpers from Oban Saints for putting on such an excellent event 👏.

Our intrepid 2014/15/16 squad were on the road today with a trip down to Campbeltown in the Argyll & the Islands Youth Football Association - AIYFA Under 12 League. It was a tightly contested affair and although the result didn’t go our way the lads gave everything for the cause as always. A big thank you and well done to the players, coaches and parents who made the trip and further thanks to our friends at Campbeltown Football for hosting.

Another great experience for the squad!
