Just a reminder that despite the group being on hold, I am always here if anyone needs a chat, rant, whine (or wine 😉).
I’d really encourage you to reach out either by messaging the group page or me directly, particularly with Christmas approaching, I know it can be a very challenging time of year for some.
Look after yourselves. Jon.

Everyone deserves good mental health, and that includes men. 💜

This month we’re sharing stories from men who have been through difficult times – what they learned, who they turned to and how they keep on going.

If you’re struggling, please remember that you are not alone.

If you, or someone you know is finding life tough, these brilliant charities help. 💜

Band of Brothers will be taking a short break and here’s why.

In order to get more guys joining in, I’d like to explore alternative days of the week to facilitate the group. Therefore could you please share your preferences below?

Our current venue has been fantastic in allowing us to meet up every other week however, due to the winter months and a decrease in trade, they will understandably be closing early when the demand is low.

Therefore, I will be looking at changing venues and will go with the consensus in terms of which day of the week the meet-ups will take place. I may also consider going down to once a month if the demand for this group remains as it is.

In the meantime, I encourage you to reach out either via the facebook group or to me directly if you’re in need of a supportive ear or would just like to meet up for a chat over a coffee or beer.

Take care of yourselves and watch this space.

Jon.

Be kind to yourself & others.
Depression can be a very secretive struggle, particularly with men.

A HUGE congratulations to our brother Al, who has completed his million steps challenge for Diabetes UK. Yep, that’s right, 1M steps over three months 🥵
What a massive achievement.

Well done Al!
