The Racing Collective A community of self-supported racers who love wild places. The Racing Collective host self-supported races for people who love wild places.

Members of the collective compete in point to point self-supported races across the UK such as the TransEnglandRace, TransWalesRace, and TransScotlandRace. We also race off-road, taking the best elements of a MTB enduro, with a cyclocross/gravel grinder-style road race: CrossduroEngland, CrossduroWales, and CrossduroScotland.

GBDURO isnt a race, it’ an epic adventure, with friends you haven’t met yet.

That feeling of converging at a house, sharing nerves and coffee before heading out into the wild is what makes this collective special.

No grandstands, no timing chips, just a group of riders starting a very big adventure together.

As of today, applications are officially open for the Class of 2026.

We aren’t just looking for the fastest legs, we’re looking for the right mindset. If you’re ready to embrace the feral, respect the policy, and find your limits between Land’s End and John O’Groats, we want to hear from you.

The start of GBDURO doesn’t feel like a race, it feels like a reunion, with friends you haven’t met yet. 🏠🚲

While the 2,000km ahead is daunting, the atmosphere at the start is anything but. No grandstands or fanfare, just a gathering at a house where riders converge from across the Europe to share one last moment of calm.

It’s a scrappy rolling picnic that turns into a life-changing journey. If you’re looking for a challenge that values community as much as competition, we’d love to see you at there.

Roman became the final rider to complete the GB Duro route in 2025.

The finish was brutal and the midgies ramped up, getting everywhere (even into his tyre saver, after so many punctures). But true to his resolve, he pushed on through and made it to John o’ Groats.

Last night, not long after 9pm, .io arrived in John o’ Groats after an incredible ride full of grit and resolve.

Even after losing a full day to bike repairs in Manchester, she pushed on to the very end — finishing GB Duro and celebrating her birthday at the same time. 🥳🎉

An unforgettable way to mark both milestones.

Yesterday, arrived in John o’ Groats after 267 hrs 28 mins on the road, a huge ride that earned him 7th place. 🍻

Waiting to greet him was , beer in hand, ready to welcome his fellow rider home.

Four hours later, .weir.85 rolled in to claim 8th, rounding out two fantastic finishes. Congratulations to both on an incredible effort.

With two more riders safely in, attention quickly turned to the next arrival — when would .io welcome party begin?

With Richard Ross and Rup all safely at John o’Groats we had reports of amazing comrades at the finish.

Richard, Ross and Timo all waited up to welcome Rup across the line. A beer, pasta and cheers awaited him.

Last night .on.a.ride stormed through to take the third podium spot for this year’s race.
