A massive thank you to everyone who came down to support our young musicians at the Get Gigging Big Gig at last night!

Thank you to the friends and families of the musicians who came down, the Mayor of Newport, and and for their performances too! What a lovely night of music 🙂
A special thank you to our funders too - , and for helping us make this happen!

A reminder for this Sunday!

We have an amazing line up of music at The Corn Exchange with some of Newport’s best upcoming talent! This follows 3 amazing master class sessions that our Get Gigging participants have done and now they have the chance to showcase what they have learnt!

We also have the amazing headlining the night and to support too!

So come along to The Corn Exchange this Sunday - it’s free entry! Doors at 5pm

This Sunday at The Corn Exchange!

Come see our amazing Get Gigging participants perform all that they’ve learned over the past few weeks as well as our amazing who will be headlining the show!

We also have performing too :) so come down at 5pm for an amazing evening of music and all for free!
A special thank you to UK Government, Youth Music and Anthem and Newport City council for supporting our event too!

Here’s a look back at our amazing Get Gigging session we did yesterday!

This was the last of our 3 music master class sessions before our participants perform at our Big Gig (This Sunday!) and we had special guest here to teach them all about the art of performing!

also brought in her vocal effects pedal, our participants jammed together and even recorded some song demos! What a great session!

If you want to see everything our participants have learned over these last few weeks, be sure to come down this Sunday to for our Big Gig!! You can get your free tickets from our bio, doors at 5pm!

Dyma gipolwg yn ôl ar ein sesiwn Get Gigging anhygoel a gynhaliwyd ddoe!
Hon oedd yr olaf o’n tair sesiwn dosbarth meistr cerddoriaeth cyn i’n cyfranogwyr berfformio yn ein Gig Mawr (y dydd Sul yma!), a chawsom y gwestai arbennig draw i ddysgu popeth iddyn nhw am grefft perfformio!
Daeth Eädyth â’i phedal effeithiau lleisiol gyda hi hefyd, cafodd ein cyfranogwyr jamio gyda’i gilydd a hyd yn oed recordio demos o ganeuon! Am sesiwn wych!

Don’t miss out! Next week we have our Get Gigging Big Gig!

Over the past few weeks our Get Gigging Participants have been learning skills, getting experience and working with industry professionals in order to become the best musicians they can!

We particularly welcome applications from those with skills in change management, charity governance, and experience in arts charities and their operating environments.
