🐾 Martha's fundraiser is still open! 🐾

This weekend, Sam is running 32 miles along the Cornish coast from Westward Ho to Bude to raise money for Martha!

Whilst Martha has already had her surgery, and is recovering brilliantly, the cost of the surgery and after care has been expensive - and Martha isn't the only dog at NCDH that needs our help. New dog, Jay, also has issues with his leg and will need X rays and potential treatment. So any excess will go towards funding treatment for dogs like Martha and Jay at NCDH.

I have just returned from my first holiday in Cornwall.
I visited Tintagel, Doc Martin's house, the witches of Boscastle and had lots of beach time adventures.

🐾 Donation Appeal for Newport City Dogs Home 🐾

Newport City Dogs Home Rehoming currently has 15 resident dogs in their care, and we’d be incredibly grateful for donations of some of their favourite treats and food toppers:

🌭 Kingsfood Tinned Hot Dogs
🧀 Primula Original Cheese (in a tube)
🐟 Tuna Chunks in Spring Water
🐟 Sardines in Spring Water

These items are used for training, enrichment and helping nervous dogs settle into kennel life.

If you’d like to help, donations can be dropped off at Newport City Dogs Home.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference to the dogs waiting for their forever homes. ❤️

🤷‍♀️ How does FONDs help? 🤷‍♀️

🧾 Not every vet bill becomes an emergency fundraiser — but they are just as important.

Behind the scenes, we quietly cover costs for essential treatments including dental work, emergency consultations, medications, and minor operations to keep our dogs healthy, comfortable, and pain-free.

These everyday vet bills quickly add up, and your ongoing support allows us to keep saying “yes” when a dog needs care. Thank you for helping us provide the treatment they deserve ❤️

Recent vet costs include:

• Milo — £300 for dental treatment
• Biscuit — £300 for dental treatment
• Cleo — £220 for cherry eye surgery and hernia treatment
• Hugo — £300 emergency vet consultation due to continuous vomiting
