Over the past few weeks we've been hearing about fuel costs, winter finances, changing catch patterns and the constant need to adapt within the fishing industry.
One fisherman summed it up simply:
"Adapt or die."
Alongside the pressures, we've also seen incredible skill, knowledge and innovation as fishermen find ways to respond to changing conditions.
These conversations remind us why showing up matters. Listening, learning and understanding the realities people are facing is at the heart of what we do.
We'll be at the Royal Cornwall Show this week, continuing conversations with Cornwall's farming communities.
