✨🏥 A Huge Delivery of Hope This Week! 🏥✨

We’ve delivered over £2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ pounds worth of craft boxes and role-play activity resources to the Great North Children’s Hospital 🎨🧸🎭

This would not be possible without your incredible support. Every donation, fundraiser and share helps us continue Mercy’s legacy and support children facing serious illness.

💖 We were incredibly grateful to receive a very generous donation today from some supporters at our church.

This weekend has also been a busy one, with hundreds of craft items being sorted and prepared ahead of a large delivery going to the Great North Children’s Hospital at the RVI in the coming weeks.

Together we make a difference, one child, one family and one box at a time. 💙🎨✨

Childhood cancer is real. It doesn’t stop. The referrals keep coming and every referral represents a child whose life has changed forever.

We’re also incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated this weekend. Your kindness will help our charity continue to bring comfort, joy and support one box at a time 💛

💙 IN MEMORY OF JACOB ARTHUR DAVINSON 💙

Jacob Arthur Davinson was a precious, deeply loved and adored little boy who tragically lost his life to DIPG — the same devastating and aggressive brain tumour that took Mercy. 💔

A much-loved son, taken far too soon.

In Jacob’s memory his incredible Dad, Anthony, is taking on an extraordinary challenge — walking from London to Brighton. 🚶‍♂️💙 and has chosen to raise money for our charity in the midst of his own unimaginable loss.

His courage, drive and determination in such devastating circumstances is truly remarkable.

This world needs more people like Anthony.

Today, we have put together a bulk shipment of craft boxes for a children’s hospice, bringing moments of joy to families living with the unimaginable reality of a child’s paediatric cancer diagnosis.

Our hospital posters are working💙

We’ve seen an increase in parental referrals over the past few weeks after our posters were placed in the parent rooms of children’s hospitals.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Junior Great North Run 2026 – Reminder! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

A reminder to all parents whose children are registered to run for Mercy’s Mighty Foundation in this year’s Junior Great North Run.

If your plans have changed and your child is no longer able to take part, please let us know as soon as possible.

If everything is still on track – fantastic! 😊

We will be contacting all runners during July 2026 / August 2026 to arrange Mercy’s Mighty Foundation t-shirts for your child.

If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via DM .

🌟 A huge congratulations to our charity trustee Liz Biggins, who has now completed her incredible challenge of walking 8 miles a day for 8 days in memory of Mercy. 💖

Fittingly, Liz finished her final walk with Mercy at the beautiful St Bartholomew’s Church in Benton and has raised an amazing £1000+ to support our charity.

What an incredible achievement of dedication and compassion. Thank you Liz for every single mile walked, every conversation started and every bit of awareness raised for children facing serious illness.
