☀️🎉 Last Sunday, we welcomed the beginning of the Summer Holidays with a beautiful day spent together with our amazing families! ❤️🌍

It was a wonderful opportunity to cook 🍽️, share 🤝, and care for one another 💙 the values that truly represent Hope Beyond Borders.

🔥 We enjoyed a fantastic BBQ, along with delicious rice 🍚, fresh salads 🥗, and tasty potatoes 🥔. A huge THANK YOU 🙌 to our incredible volunteers, who are always there for us and make every event so special. Your dedication, kindness, and hard work create magic! ✨💛

⚽🏐 The fun continued with football and volleyball, bringing smiles, teamwork, and lots of laughter to everyone! 😄🎊

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this celebration so meaningful. Together, we continue to build a stronger, kinder, and more united community. 🌍❤️

What a brilliant, sun-soaked day down at the allotment! ☀️🪴

Everyone had an absolutely smashing time today, and we got so much done. It was proper hard graft levelling out the ground, but the effort was well worth it because we’ve officially started building the new greenhouse! 🛠️🌱
We also got to enjoy the fruits of our labour with a lovely little harvest. We picked some fresh chives and threw them straight onto our pizzas for a well-earned lunch. 🍕🌿 Delicious!
A massive thank you to everyone who chipped in today. There is nothing quite like spending our free time together as a family, getting our hands dirty, and learning to love and care for the land. 🌍💚

Awards Gateshead for organisations and community sector. Working towards climate change in Gateshead
We were shortlisted and we feel so proud to be part of it raising our voices in complex topics such as climate change.

Big congratulations to Chopwell regeneration as they deserve the best for their great effort

We will keep working towards a better future for ethnic minority groups and also for the planet

We are delighted to have received an award from the Gateshead Community Awards 2026. For 'Tackling Climate Change'

We can't change the world, but we can change what happens in our world. Or put another way in reality ... 'Remaining stoical in extreme times and doing our best not to waste precious resources (eg collecting waste veg for compost heaps to feed our crops); increasing food resilience by making working with and across the community stronger (eg work as a community together); sharing and developing the knowledge of how to grow, preserve and cook with fresh food for good nutrition and health, and that this is available to everybody in the community (eg Free Permaculture Horticulture Training)' and so we go on.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating Refugee Week!

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with connection, creativity, learning and community spirit. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who took part and helped make this event so special.

Together, we celebrated the strength, resilience, diversity and valuable contributions that refugees bring to our communities every day.

Thank you to all the organisations, volunteers and participants who supported this event and helped create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone.

Events like these remind us of the power of community, belonging and standing together.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Father’s Day with families, friends and members of our community. It was a day filled with laughter, meaningful conversations and special moments shared together.

We took the opportunity to recognise and appreciate all fathers and father figures for the love, support and dedication they bring to their families every day. 💙

What a wonderful day we shared together! ✨

We would like to thank everyone who attended and all the organisations that took part in this special community event 🤝❤️ we enjoy of POOPS and TRIANGULAR CIO event .

It was a day filled with joy, friendship and memorable moments, where we enjoyed delicious food 🍽️, a welcoming atmosphere 🎉, and the opportunity to strengthen the connections that bring our community together 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦.

The event gave us a great chance to meet new people, share experiences, and create lasting memories with families, friends and community partners 🌟.

Although World Refugee Day is officially observed on 20 June, we will come together on 18 June to recognise and celebrate the strength, resilience, diversity, and valuable contributions that refugees bring to our communities. 🤝❤️

It will be a wonderful opportunity to connect, strengthen community ties, and celebrate the spirit of inclusion and belonging that unites us. 🎉🌍
