🌟 Give Your Young People Their First Nights Away Adventure! 🏕️
Every young person deserves the chance to experience the magic of their first residential adventure. From sleeping under the stars and sitting around a campfire to learning new skills, making friends and building confidence, these experiences create memories that last a lifetime.
Thanks to a partnership between The Scouts and Omaze UK funding is now available to help 1,400 young people attend a residential at one of the following Scout Adventures centres:
📍 Broadstone Warren (East Sussex)
📍 Gilwell Park (North London)
📍 Great Tower (Lake District)
📍 Youlbury (Oxfordshire)
Who can apply?
Applications are open to Squirrel Dreys, Beaver Colonies and Cub Packs in England
Priority will be given to sections that haven't had a Nights Away experience in the last 12 months, helping even more young people enjoy their very first adventure.
What's included?
✅ Two-night residential stay
✅ Six instructor-led activity sessions
✅ Evening activity programme
✅ Full catering throughout your stay
✅ Accommodation in a lodge or tented village
✅ Leader places included to meet required ratios
What will you need to cover?
🚌 Travel to and from the centre
💷 Just £12 per person (10% contribution) once your booking is confirmed
Before you apply
* Applications should be completed by a Section Team Leader or Group Lead Volunteer.
* You can apply for multiple sections attending together.
* Choose your preferred location and dates when applying.
* All visits must take place by 31 March 2027.
* If your section doesn't currently have a Nights Away Permit Holder, don't worry—simply mention this in your application, as support may be available.
Whether it's tackling team challenges, lighting a campfire, cooking outdoors or simply spending time away with friends, this is a fantastic opportunity to help young people develop confidence, resilience and skills for life.
