Our Story
Fulfilling Lives Newcastle Gateshead is an 8-year funded programme by The National Community Fund. Our partners are Changing Lives, Mental Health Concern and Oasis Aquila Housing, and we work together to create real system change in the North East region to help those with multiple complex needs. The beneficiaries we help are those who spiral around the system(s) and are excluded from support they need and experience a combination of at least three of the following four problems: - homelessness - problematic substance misuse - mental ill-health - re-offending We have System Brokers and Service Navigators who engage with our beneficiaries to find blockages and problems in the systems and help our beneficiaries better manage their lives. Our goal is to improve and better co-ordinate services to support people across Newcastle and Gateshead living with multiple and complex needs: to see people for the potential they have rather than the problems they face.
