Northumberland Young Farmers Young farmers' clubs are for anyone between 10 and 28yrs who want to have fun, learn new skills and meet a great group of friends. Come and join!

You don't have to be a farmer to be a young farmer!! If you are aged between 10 and 28 and want to join in fun events and have an excellent social life with people of the same age, Young Farmers is probably what you've been looking for. There is so much to do in YFC. You'll meet lots of new friends in your club, county and nation-wide. You can get involved with competitions, social events, sports,

travel, visits & talks and learn new skills; the opportunities are endless. You can do as much or as little as you like. Each club meets regularly and has something to offer to everyone. If you would like to find out more please contact the County Office who will put you in touch with your nearest Club.

Yesterday we hosted the Northern Area Field Day 2026, kindly hosted by the Gray family at Middle Ord Farm, Berwick upon Tweed.

Thank you to all of our members who took part and coming second overall 🥈 was a great end to the day, well done to everyone who competed 🎉 Well done to Yorkshire Young Farmers on taking the win 🏆 and to all of the other counties and members who competed on the day!

A massive thank you to our committee, the Gray family for hosting, all of the stewards and judges, caterers and to all the other YFC members and their supporters for travelling north!

Field day will be open to all on Saturday.

Come along and see the 7 northern area counties compete against another.

See who gets through to the National finals for the tug of war and other competitions.
