Sometimes it can be scary to take the next step in life, especially when you’ve experienced trauma and bad situations in your past!

Your past can make you afraid of your next chapter, the unknown, all the things running through your mind, this is where you keep reliving some of the wosrt parts of your past in your head mixed in with the fears of what could go wrong in your future, this is the perfect storm to create anxiety!

That anxiety makes you fear moving forward and turning the page but the truth is that nobody knows what the future will bring and no matter how many scenarios we live out in our head, it hasn’t actually happened yet, it may not happen at all and if those scenarios we do vision in our heads happen, the chances are they will be nowhere near as bad as we envision them!

Sometimes we need to muster up all the courage we can from deep inside and take that next step forward because until we turn that page we never truly know what will happen!

That next chapter we’re sometimes afraid to begin could be the best chapter of our lives so far and by not turning that page we could be robbing ourselves of something truly amazing! ❤️

Desmond Tutu once said…

“We need to stop just pulling people out of the river.
We need to go upstream and find out why they're falling in!”

1 in 5 people experience serious suicidal thoughts in their lifetime!

Mental health effects people every day, not just during mental health awareness week or when we hear of somebody talking their life, so many people struggle in silence and many of these people may be the strongest people you know who are in fact really struggling and just about hanging on by a thread with a big smile on their face! 💚

This is why so many people are unhappy with their lives!

It’s sometimes hard to admit to ourselves that we made the wrong choices and even harder to make the changes needed to get out of the situations those choices created but the longer we keep going down the wrong path, the harder it is to get off that path and onto the path that will take us in the right direction!

How many people are stuck in a career they don’t like, stuck in relationships that aren’t serving them and living a life they don’t really want to be living?

It’s never too late to make changes in our lives, yes it can be scary to walk out of the wrong room not knowing if things will work out but it’s better than spending the rest of our lives in a wrong room that isn’t fulfilling us and stops us from being happy!

Be brave, walk out of that door because when one door closes another one opens and life is for living, not just existing! ❤️
