The raffle for the signed Newcastle United shirt was drawn at our Quiz last night. Congratulations to N Harrison, who won the shirt!

We had two runners up who each received a bottle of wine - J Taylor and Toni. Well done all!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for tonight’s Quiz, and to all who bought raffle tickets for the signed Newcastle United shirt. Together we’ve raised a fantastic amount to put towards an updated heating system for the hall.

Congratulations to our winning team, ‘Any Time Any Place’, with ‘The Village Idiots’ close behind as runners‑up — well done to you all. The signed NUFC shirt will be winging its way to its new owner tomorrow.

A special thank you goes to our brilliant volunteers working behind the scenes. These events simply wouldn’t happen without their time, energy and enthusiasm.

And finally, a big heartfelt thank you for your continued support. It makes all the difference.

Join us for our next Quiz Night on Friday 24th April!

Tickets are £10 and include your supper of pie, peas and wedges, with our reasonably priced bar open throughout the evening.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
It’s always a relaxed, good‑spirited night with a raffle and plenty of varied quiz rounds.

We’d love to see both new faces and old friends — but please book as soon as possible, as places tend to fill quickly.

This summer, I’ll be running a series of classes exclusively for children starting Reception.

These sessions are a lovely opportunity for you and your little one to meet other children and parents from your school, helping everyone feel more confident and connected before the Big First Day.

Classes will be available for a number of local schools in Ponteland and the surrounding areas, initially.

Each school will have their own session, or block of sessions, helping to create a real Reception class feel and chance to get to know their future classmates.
