Once again, the Trustees and volunteers of Dalton Village Hall extend a huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Quiz Night last night. As you can see from the photo, it was another full house. Congratulations to our winning team — and an extra thank you for so kindly donating your prize money back to the Hall.
All raffle prize winners have now been notified, and we would like to express our sincere thanks to the fantastic local businesses who supported us with prizes and donations including Cleo's Studio Haveli and Ponteland Health and Beauty.
We’re delighted to share that the event raised over £800, all of which goes directly towards improvements at the Hall. So far this year, funds from previous events have enabled us to install a new heating system to replace the obsolete one, along with new fencing. Looking ahead, we hope to raise money for an audio‑visual system, allowing us to host even more community events — including film nights and live sport screenings.
Events like these rely entirely on the goodwill of our wonderful volunteers, and we are incredibly grateful. Thank you to everyone who helped on the night and behind the scenes: hosting, making food, selling raffle tickets, organising prizes, and everything else that makes our Quiz Night such a success.
If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more about Dalton Village Hall, drop us a message or come along to our AGM on Saturday 17th October 2026 at 10am.
