Just to let everyone know that there is a road closure leading up to the allotment, meaning you can only access the allotment by car using St Anthony's Road. Hopefully the BBQ is still going ahead but if the rain and thunder come early we may have to rethink lighting the BBQ. We will still be there with the vibes come rain or shine 🌞

🧱✨ WOW… together we raised an amazing £1655 at the Wey Aye LEGO Man 2026 Exhibition! ✨🧱 From the opening party to the silent auction, the school visits, the creative workshops and every single person who came through the doors — thank you for making this year’s exhibition so special 💛
Every bid, donation, share, visit and word of support helps us keep growing this joyful, creative and inclusive project year after year 🙌
A huge thank you to all of the artists, participants, volunteers, supporters, One Strawberry Lane, New Beginnings NE Ltd and Visual Voice for helping bring the exhibition to life. The money raised will now help fund an even bigger and better Wey Aye LEGO Man 2027! 🚀 What a week. What a community. 🧱💚

🌿💧 WOW… what an absolutely incredible day at the allotment! 💧🌿 Today our amazing volunteers from Northumbrian Water helped us completely transform the pond area by installing a beautiful new waterfall, rockery and wildlife space 🪨🌸🐝
The amount of hard work, teamwork and enthusiasm everyone brought was just fantastic, and the difference made in just one day is honestly unbelievable. The pond area already feels like a peaceful little nature retreat 🌿✨
A massive THANK YOU to everyone from Northumbrian Water for giving up your time and energy to support our community allotment today — you’ve made a huge difference and created something that will be enjoyed by so many people for years to come 💚
We can’t wait to watch the plants grow in and see the wildlife move in over the summer 🦋🐸☀️
