Welcome to West Northumberland Family Hubs and Early Help

We are here to help every child in West Northumberland get the best start in life. We provide a wide range of services to children and their families, from pregnancy through to the age of 19 years (25years for SEND). Our offer includes play & learning groups, parenting courses, intensive support for families, & domestic abuse services. We host a range of other services provided by our NHS partners to ensure families can easily access services in their community. We are very proud of our reputation as a warm, friendly & caring service. We work in close partnership with parents to help them reach their potential as confident, resourceful, happy & capable people.

👉 Understand emotions and coping strategies that can help with your wellbeing.

Join us for a helpful and supportive session for expectant parents and carers to feel more confident and informed about infant feeding.
In this session you will learn all about infant feeding from the infant feeding team. There will be opportunities to ask questions and share ideas to enable you to plan and prepare for your babies' arrival.

🚗Road Safety Week - Car seats 👶

Until they are 150cm tall, all children should sit in a correctly sized and fitted child seat when travelling by car.

Never hold a child in your arms in a vehicle. The child would be likely to fly out of your arms in a crash.

Never use one adult seat belt to restrain both you and a child. The child would be crushed by your body in a crash.

Never use one seat belt to restrain more than one person.

Never carry someone else’s child in your vehicle if you do not have a child restraint appropriate for their size and weight.

Never allow someone to travel unrestrained.
