Is your little one taking part in the Mini Great North Run this year?

If they’d like to make their miles mean even more, they can choose to raise money for the Ellis Lake Foundation and help us continue supporting families with poorly children in hospital. 💜

👕 Every child who runs and fundraises for us will receive their very own Ellis Lake Foundation running T-shirt to wear on the day!

There’s no minimum fundraising target — every penny raised makes a difference, and most importantly, we want the kids to have fun and feel proud to be part of Team Ellis Lake. 🌈

If your child already has a Mini Great North Run place and would like to run for us, just drop us a message and we’ll get them signed up to Team Ellis Lake and sort their T-shirt.

Ellis had Sports day at his SEND school last week, parents weren’t invited so we had no idea he took part in a colour run until dad collected him. Here he is living his best life, I’m so pleased he didn’t miss out this year. Equally grateful that his little brother loves to clean and helped to get Ellis’s wheelchair back to its original state!

🌈 Could you spare a few hours to make a real difference?
We're excited to launch our new volunteer opportunities at the Ellis Lake Foundation and we're looking for passionate people to join our growing team.

Whether you're interested in helping pack hygiene bags for families in hospital, supporting fundraising events, assisting with administration, managing social media, helping with grants and funding applications or sharing your professional skills, we have a role for you.

✨ Make a real difference to families when they need it most

Our volunteers are based at our offices in Quorum Business Park, with excellent transport links, free parking nearby and a friendly, supportive environment.
