😀 Last week we were thrilled to host another Geordie Voices session and chat as a team about our current amazing projects. We even had some lovely bakes that a group member brought in for the group.

🤝🏾 We are always looking for new group members to get involved with Geordie Voices to help us work with the local council and community, to highlight the needs of disabled people.

🗣 If you would like to speak to Stewart or Kirstie about Geordie Voices, or have any questions about joining, then get in touch.

Have you heard of TaxiCard?

If you are on certain benefits, you can apply for a TaxiCard from Nexus.

It is to help people who might find it hard to use public transport, because of their health or a disability.

This can help you get free taxi journeys if they cost under £3, and £3 off more expensive taxi journeys.

You have to ring 0191 2020747 to ask for an application form, and apply by 25th February 2022.

***Coronavirus update***The TaxiCard scheme is operating as normal, but under continual review. Any updates will be communicated by the TaxiCard scheme operators and on this page.We are now able to process applications and issue TaxiCards.
