As we gather tomorrow to pay tribute to all those who have served and sacrificed, let us do so with both respect and care.

Please ensure you have a substantial breakfast before attending and stay well hydrated throughout the day. During the parade, avoid locking your knees and, should you begin to feel unwell, take a knee to recover safely.

Your health and wellbeing are important, taking care of yourself helps us all stand together in remembrance.

This evening, we were joined by staff and cadets from Toot Hill Detachment to bid farewell to Cadet RSM Buller.

We thank him for his dedication, expertise and commitment to Newark Detachment and wider Army Cadet Force.

We all wish him the very best, as he moves into the next chapter of his life.

You will be missed, Sir.

Tonight was navigation in the classroom, followed by team building games - a great time had by all...and we had two new cadets join us. ☺

This evening, cadets spent the first half of the night learning about the importance of keeping active; how it impacts both our physical and mental health. Then, it was onto kit care, where our new recruits focused on polishing their boots.
