Would you like to submit a Resolution?
Below are details about submission, if this is something you had thought about doing, here is your chance.
26/27 Resolutions Process is Now Open! -
Submissions are now open for WIs and federations to propose resolutions for the 2026/27 process. This is your chance to highlight an issue you are concerned about and put forward your ideas about what you would like to see the WI campaign on from next year.
A resolution is a call for change on a current issue in society. Once a resolution has been adopted at the Annual Meeting, the NFWI Public Affairs Department turns it into a campaign. Through national and local campaigning, members play a crucial role in driving change on key issues.
Any WI or federation can submit a resolution, as long as it has been voted on and approved.
You can find several resources on My WI, including:
-Guidance on how to develop your resolution with your WI and federation, and submit it to NFWI
-26/27 Resolution Timetable
-Resolution Submission Form (As far as possible, we would encourage you to submit resolutions using the online form).
You can find all of these resources and more here: https://mywi.thewi.org.uk/public-affairs-and-campaigns/news-and-actions/submit-a-resolution-make-a-change-202627
You are encouraged to speak to your federation at the earliest possible opportunity if you would like to submit a resolution. Federations can support you with developing the resolution and must also check and sign any resolutions submitted by WIs, so getting in touch early will improve the chances that the submission is successful.
The deadline for resolutions to arrive with your federation representative for approval is 1 September 2026.
If you have any questions or would like support in submitting a resolution, members are also welcome to contact the NFWI Public Affairs Department on [email protected].
