NO DETENTIONS! NO DEPORTATIONS! FULL RIGHTS FOR MIGRANTS NOW 📣📣📣 JOIN US CROYDON THIS SATURDAY ‼️‼️‼️

A massive grassroots mobilisation is coming to Britain and Ireland on the 20–21 June. Join communities across the country for a weekend of action as we organise, resist, and work to break up the border everywhere ✊✊✊

Calling all anti-racists! Join us to march on Croydon reporting centre in solidarity with migrants and refugees!

12PM, Saturday 20 June – meet us at the entrance to the Whitgift Centre opposite Greggs, 51 N End Road, Croydon, CR0 1TG

In imperialist Britain, all immigration controls are inherently racist because they exist to maximise profits for the predominantly white ruling class, while dividing the working class along racialised lines. Many on the left portray Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson, and the far right as our principal enemy. But these abhorrent figures are a symptom of racism in Britain - the cause is the capitalist British state itself. All parties that seek to govern the British state - Reform UK, Greens, or whoever - must do so in the interests of British capital.

The Labour government is no different. It has ramped up raids and detentions, boasting of deporting over 60,000 people; it has given more powers to the racist police to repress protest and dissent; and it has backed imperialist aggression around thе world, including attacks on Iran, and the apartheid Zionist state’s genocide in Palestine.

Socialism means the working class taking power. But only a united working class is capable of this. The only force capable of defeating racism in Britain and providing for the needs of all will be a movement that unites migrants and non-migrants; that organises democratically on the streets; that recognises the British state as its key enemy; and that is committed to building socialism.

This weekend marks the 23rd anniversary of the 2002 Venezuelan coup attempt 🇻🇪✊

Join Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism! South London for a screening of The Revolution Will Not Be Televised a gripping documentary capturing the moment a democratically elected government faced a coup, and the Venezuelan people who fought back.

In April 2002, Venezuela’s elected president, Hugo Chávez, faces a brief coup attempt backed by a US-supported opposition. The two-day uprising fails, but the chaos becomes powerful material for two Irish filmmakers already documenting him as events unfold.

Come through, learn, discuss, organise 🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪🇻🇪

Join South London FRFI for our sixth session of our latest educational series ✊

Session 6 will take place on the 17th of March, and will focus on “Imperialism today and its political consequences” through the following texts:

* Yaffe: Britain – parasitic and decaying capitalism (FRFI 194)
* Yaffe: Imperialism and the split in the working class movement (FRFI 253)
* Clough: Corbyn’s victory – Labour Party in crisis

We live under imperialism today. How do we understand this, and what does this mean politically for us?

All the readings are available via the RCG’s website under Basic Introduction to Marxism.

Everyone is welcome, you do not need to be a member of FRFI, only to have an interest in learning and discussing Marxist theory.

We look forward to studying and organising together ✊

Show your solidarity with socialist Cuba by donating to the RCG contingent of the Nuestra América convoy and flotilla 🇨🇺🇨🇺🇨🇺🇨🇺

We’re transporting medicines and other supplies to break the US blockade, with which Britain is complicit. The US has banned any country from supplying fuel to Cuba, and is threatening to escalate its attacks following its bloody interventions in Venezuela and Iran. Progressives in Britain owe it to Cuba to defend the socialist revolution, which has long stood on the side of the international working class and liberation movements around the world. Donate today!

Use the reference ‘Convoy’
(DO NOT use the word ‘Cuba’, as the transaction will likely be blocked by British banks)

Join South London FRFI for our fifth session of our latest educational series ✊

Session 5 will take place on the 3rd of March, and will focus on “Cuba and Socialism” through the following texts:

* Yaffe: Uphold the banner of communism (FRFI 103)
* Aibhilín: Cuba! Socialism, resistance and humanity (FRFI 275)
* Participation and elections in Cuba – a lesson in democracy (FRFI 245)

Cuba has stood strong for over six decades defending its revolution, fighting to build socialism.

Socialist Cuba is currently under siege. The Cuban people are facing the harshest intensification of the genocidal blockade since its imposition by the U.S. over 64 years ago with the stated aim to strangle the island and its people in order to overthrow their socialist revolution.

There hasn’t been a more important time to come and educate ourselves on the Cubans’ fight for socialism and a better world.

All the readings are available via the RCG’s website under Basic Introduction to Marxism.

Everyone is welcome, you do not need to be a member of FRFI, only to have an interest in learning and discussing Marxist theory.

We look forward to studying and organising together ✊

This event is on Sunday. You can attend in person in London or online!

The movement in solidarity with Palestine is under attack. Across Europe and North America, states have ramped up their efforts to criminalise and imprison activists in order to crush resistance to their imperialist support for Israel. This repression needs to be met with militant resistance not jus...
