Protest at the French embassy in London tonight ✊

Solidarity with the French students!

Here in Britain, the situation of young people is no better. The British ruling class has made clear its intentions to make further cuts on public spending and shove young people into low paid, low skilled work.

The FRFI speaker highlighted British-French collaboration in the racist policing of borders, with the Labour government making a £600m contract with the French state to drive migrants back from the channel.

We stressed that the struggles against racism and imperialism are one and the same, from London to Paris to Palestine to the Sahel.

The response of French youth to the crisis of capitalism must inspire us all: if we want a better future, we will have to fight for it.

🇵🇸 Solidarity with Palestine today in Peckham !

FRFI South London took to the streets to speak to local people about the important issues and why we must organise to fight for housing, benefits, education and health, and against British imperialism, war and support for Israeli apartheid.

We must support the SOAS 2 Defence Campaign campaign and join the protest at the Old Bailey on Monday 14 September - all week! An injury to one is an injury to all!

🚨 ⚡️ DAY OF ACTION IN BRIGHTON:
Rally: 12PM Brighton Train Station
Public Meeting: 5PM, Community Base

🗣️ Our comrades in Brighton have faced escalating repression over the past few months as local Zionists have put pressure on Brighton police to crack down on Palestine solidarity. Our comrade Maya was arrested under the Public Order Act for chanting ‘victory to the intifada’. The police have harassed her repeatedly, breaking into her house, contacting her family and her landlord – for the alleged ‘crime’ of defending the Palestinian resistance. She has now been charged.

📣 Another one of our comrades was brutally arrested and had his house raided over a placard which featured a red triangle. Following the arrest, he has sustained a long-term injury. More recently, a screening of the film Jenin Jenin was censored after it was mass reported by Zionists, with the Charity Commission now investigating the venue. 

✊ Under attack, we fight back! Our rights to free speech, to protest, to defend the Palestinian people and their resistance are at stake. We need to build a movement capable of defending itself against state repression – this can only be done through struggle on the streets. If you are an anti-imperialist, if you stand with the Palestinian people, we want to see you in Brighton on the 15th of August!
