🌙✨ Eid Celebrations at Safe Space ✨🌙

Our young people recently came together to celebrate Eid with food, laughter, and learning. With the help of staff member Lesley, everyone got involved in making a delicious homemade curry.

The session was a great opportunity to learn more about different cultures and traditions, while also building confidence, teamwork, and cooking skills. Most importantly, it was a lovely chance for everyone to spend time together and enjoy the celebration.

We’re proud to create opportunities like this at Safe Space, where young people can feel supported, connected, and included.

💙 Sometimes the smallest things make the biggest difference — a listening ear, a warm brew, and someone who believes in a young person’s future. ☕

Mental health challenges and homelessness are deeply interconnected. Mental health issues can both contribute to homelessness and be exacerbated by structural factors such as inadequate support, poverty and unstable housing. Social exclusion, trauma and family breakdown can also be contributing factors, leaving certain groups of people more vulnerable.

If you’re aged 16–21 and experiencing homelessness, or at risk of it, you’re not alone — we’re here to help at Safespace.
