As part of Women in Construction Week, the Swansea Bay Construction Support Group is proud to highlight the incredible women working on the Margam Connection project in Port Talbot and Margam.
Delivered by Laing O’Rourke for National Grid, the project showcases the wide range of career opportunities available for women in construction – from engineering and surveying to project management, administration, community engagement and workforce development.
It also marks Laing O’Rourke’s first major project in Wales in five years, following its work on The Grange University Hospital, and builds on the company’s long history in Wales, including delivering the Principality Stadium.
We’re particularly proud to highlight the talented women from both organisations helping deliver the project – as well as the next generation of engineers coming through via apprenticeships.
