1068 (Nairn) Squadron is part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets which encompasses both the Air Training Corps (ATC) and Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Aimed at young Men and Women between 12-19 there are currently some 900 ATC Squadrons and 200 CCF units around the UK massing together some 45000 cadets and 9000 Adult Staff. As a cadet you'll have the opportunity to do things that others only dream ab

out. No problem. How about heading out on adventurous training and camps, sometimes overseas on annual international exchanges? Normal for cadets. Competitive sports, drill, shooting, music, media and engineering projects? Our list of activities is long, varied and open to all cadets. Yes it's a challenge, but that's what life's all about.

Tonight was the last night for one of our oldest cadets. Sergeant J Rose joined the Squadron just weeks before the Covid Lockdown.

On returning to the Squadron after we reopened, Jacob as taken full advantage of many activities and camps.

We wish him well for the future and we have no doubt he will succeed, with the training and development he has gained from the organisation.

On Thursday 11th September 19:30, our Civilian Committee will be hosting our AGM! All are welcome to attend and new members are more than welcome. I'm also advised that tea & coffee, along with a few biscuits may be available 😜

Our new Smatboard will give us a more interactive learning platform when teaching our cadets.
