Do you need care for a loved one in an MK17/18 postcode?

We have a highly experienced private carer available locally, weekdays, within school hours and some weekend availability, Swanbourne based. Fully qualified mature professional with a psychology and care background.
Available for part-time care/home help.

Experience with special needs children and adults with complex care needs. Extensive experience of Dementia, Parkinson’s, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Cerebal Palsy, COPD, Visually Impaired, Special Needs and end of life. Insured and DBS checked, triple vaccinated against COVID 19.

Fully able to assess care needs and formulate a care plan. Support in co-ordinating care, medication assistance, shopping and meal prep, domestic duties, social activities and undertaking physio.

Half the cost of traditional care agencies at £16.50 an hour.

Excellent references. Immediate Hours available from Monday February 14th 2022.

Live-in Carer – Devon- Immediate Start- Salary TBC

Situation:
Our mother is 92 years old, sound of mind, positive and cheerful and has been successfully living alone until recently when she had a serious fall breaking her hip and right arm. We are keen to bring her back from hospital to the home she loves in a small village in Devon. It’s a rural situation in a nice detached bungalow with friendly neighbours. Following her operation, she is in recovery, frail and not very mobile.

Role:
Recuperation is likely to take many months and we would prefer one carer to stay and bond with her for the duration. Her primary wish is to have a friendly, kind and caring companion. Currently she also needs help with personal care, showering, mobility, including helping her to the toilet, cooking and housekeeping.
We are hiring privately so we are unable to provide training, but her family are all supportive and helpful.

Ideal Candidate:
28-55 year old female.
Fit and able help her with mobility.
Previous successful experience as a live-in carer and looking for a long-term placement.
Polite, kind, friendly, helpful and trustworthy.
Patient and able to encourage Mum to do post-op physio daily.

We are a not-for-profit organisation who is as strong as the community that holds it up. Together, we can do more than we can alone. By bringing our abilities and passions together with no bureaucratic management seeking to make a profit. Meaning all experienced Carers can now benefit from our new tailored approach to care. We invoice weekly and the day the patient pays is the day it reaches you. We ask for a £1 donation per hour worked, that goes straight into our charity, thus allowing immediate care for those most in need. In essence it is recirculated and goes directly back to the Carers we work with.
