An honour and a privilege for the Upper Dales to be part of this visit. Steve, Sarah and the team Farmers Arms Pub, Muker did us all proud. Thanks to all those involved in the organisation of the day. 🍻

What an incredible day here in Swaledale!

The team at the Farmers Arms were honoured to host HRH Prince William for lunch during his visit to Swaledale. He enjoyed a hearty lunch of chicken and ham pie, chips, mushy peas and gravy, which got the royal seal of approval 👑🥧

It's certainly a day we will never forget! 🤩

Did you spot the Prince during his visit today? If so, we'd love to see your photos in the comments below 📸

We are delighted to announce that Stephen Gregson has entered into a new tenancy at The Farmers Arms Pub, Muker in partnership with Sarah Livell.

It has been just over 6 weeks since the previous tenants handed in their notice and the committee have worked quickly to complete the recruitment process. We are fortunate to have local residents with the experience and reputation of Stephen and Sarah.

The pub is now open for drinks service and as they rebuild stocks, and familiarise themselves with the pub, will be providing a food service in time for the week before Easter.

We trust that you will give Stephen and Sarah a warm welcome and support them in their efforts to ensure The Farmers Arms is a great rural pub.

Following an exciting year and a half, with the buzz back at the Farmers Arms Pub, Muker, this week the Management Committee received the unfortunate news that “with the heaviest of hearts” Craig and Claire Morris have taken the very hard decision to give notice to leave the pub due to an ongoing family illness.

The Committee is extremely grateful to Craig and Claire for their efforts in providing a very well regarded service during their tenancy, in significantly upgrading the facilities at the pub, and in demonstrating the potential for its commercial success.

The Management Committee have taken the decision to immediately advertise for new tenants. We are keen to get suitable new tenants as soon as possible and will keep you updated on progress.

We are grateful for everything Craig and Claire have done as our first tenants and wish them success for the future.
