🗓️ 2026/27 FIXTURES RELEASED

The Seagulls' return to the South West Peninsula League begins at Trungle Parc on Saturday 8 August against St Mawgan.

There are some big dates to look forward to, including local derbies against Falmouth Town Reserves, Helston Athletic and Penzance, plus the festive trip to Penzance on 27 December and the return fixture at Trungle Parc on Good Friday.

💚 WELCOME, ASHLEY WATERS 💚

Mousehole AFC is delighted to announce the appointment of Ashley Waters as First Team Manager.

Ashley joins the club with extensive experience in Cornish football, including senior management, player development and youth coaching. Most recently, he helped guide Pendeen Rovers to the St Piran League title and now takes charge as Mousehole begins an exciting new chapter.

Chair Deryk Heywood said: "Ashley is a passionate coach who will bring fresh ideas, energy and unwavering commitment to this amazing football club."
Ashley added: "This is a chance to build something special and I am keen to get started. With the backing of our supporters and everyone connected with the club, I believe Mousehole AFC has a bright future ahead."

Following recent developments and the club’s decision to take a strategic step back, we invite supporters, volunteers, players and everyone connected with Mousehole AFC to join us for a General Meeting this Wednesday at 6pm in the clubhouse.

🏆 Cup Final Winners 🏆

Cornwall Youth Football League (CYFL) U10 St Anthony League Cup

What a day for our Merlins! An incredible effort from every single player to come away with a victory in a fantastic cup final. The boys showed great character, teamwork and determination throughout, and we couldn’t be prouder of them all.

Thank you as well to all of the parents, family members and supporters who came along and created such a brilliant atmosphere for the players. These are the days grassroots football is all about.

Huge credit to St Day Pirates too, who were outstanding opponents and pushed us all the way to the final whistle in a really competitive and well-played game. Their players and coaches were a real credit to their club, and we wish them all the very best for the future. 👏

CLUB STATEMENT: A NEW CHAPTER

Mousehole AFC can confirm it is applying for voluntary relegation from the Southern League to the South West Peninsula League for 2026/27.

This is a strategic reset designed to help the club regroup, rebuild sustainably and strengthen football across our whole community.

We’re hugely proud of everything this club has achieved — and hugely grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey.

This is not the end of ambition in West Cornwall football. It’s the start of a new chapter. 💚
